Last friday I had my first flight in a helicopter. We flew over the vineyards of Mallorca.
I gotta do it again !!!!!

CIN IS COMIN'!

Tonight about 21:40 h Cin & Marion are landing at Mallorca Airport. They'll stay in our house til the 21st of May. Cin is going to play with WE R COMIN'! at the Guinness House in Palma this Saturday. Don't miss to be there!!!

Lunchtime !!!

The Organisation of the European Day Festival invited us for a big Menu into a restaurant in Calvia. After a few drinks and excellent starters you could choose between Fish & Meat. One or two Cigarettes before the dessert went in. Nina, Little Dave, Piero & I had a good time & a few Bottles o' Wine. After that we went for a few drinks more to the GUINNESS HOUSE.

Stanley Clarke

Back in Mallorca I went with my family to a press conference of Bass Legend STANLEY CLARKE. Everybody could ask him questions and Marlon, my Son asked him: "Who do you think is the best Bass Player in the world?" Stanley looked at him and said:"You!!" Later Mr. Clarke signed Marlon's Bass and I got my Autograph for my wall.

Big K. & The Solid Senders

The day after the "Brünnchen" I was in Cologne City 3 O'Clock in the afternoon to see Big K. & The Solid Senders featuring Rufus T. and Cin on Piano, playing on the street. It was a bit like in the Blues Brothers movie. Solid Rhythm & Blues !!

Back on the island

Monday morning at 6:45 I've touched the ground of Mallorca island again. While I was in Cologne it was warm and sunny, unbelievable !!
Here are some pics of the acoustic Jam in "Brünnchen" in Pulheim. This time the RAGGED COMPANY was in a very good mood, just like the audience. Thanks to Mahoni, Cin, Mr. Saxman, Rufus T., Linus, Mr Jones and Mr. Lu Ried for an unforgetable night.

Heading for Cologne

Tonight at 22:55 I'll take flight Nr 4U 599 to Cologne! Arrival time is announced for 01:10 night time. I'll be back on the island the following tuesday at 6:55 in the morning.
Friday we'll have a big Jam with the whole RAGGED COMPANY at a place called "Am Brünnchen in Pulheim. The next days I'll spend working on my forthcomin' Album and other Border channel projects.

The ROCKIN' FRIDAY Concerts are going pretty well. Real rock & roll nights. Last Friday we had a young band called THE TRÜMPET GEEZERS. Their Drummer played ans looked like a young version of Terry Anderson. Piero and I entered the Stage for a rockin' Version of Brown Sugar.

Lucky 13, The Black Beards & Guinness

Hi,
Last "Rockin' Friday" at S'ENTORN we had a great Rock & Roll Band called THE BLACK BEARDS". Together we played a rough version of Honky Tonk Women.
As Opening Act we had 3 very young guys called LUCKY 13, where my son Marlon plays the Bass and does some vocals. 'Cause they're still looking for a drummer, I had the pleasure to play 'em that night. Me - a drummer!!! Great fun all the way.
The next evening I had one of the best gigs in my life with WE R COMIN' ! at the GUINNESS HOUSE. The place was packed and the crowd went crazy. Man, we really kicked ass!!!

Too busy thinkin' bout my Baby

After a heavy St. Patrick's night and another great GUINNESS HOUSE performance we recorded a video and interview for Mallorca TV, where we met 4 incredible guys. Carles Grimalt and his team. We went to an old wine-growing estate where we had to mime to the recording of SOUL FOOD CAFE. Real Funny. After the shot we went to the next Bar to have a few beers & peanuts all together. Before we left, they shot sum pitchers of the Band for an article in a local Newspaper.
Back in Llucmajor, we decided to go for Dinner. Our favourite restaurant SA FOGANYA was closed, so we finally went to a fancy little restaurant on the hill of Randa. While eating our extremly big Steaks (Little Dave had Rabbit with onions) and drinking a few carafes o' wine, we talked about the upcomin' trip to Finland and the new songs we're gonna record soon. Man, we had real fun !!!
Next Friday we can be heard a full hour on the Radio. The station is called 40 Pricipales.
Saturday we're back at the Guinness House in Palma.

WE R COMIN' !

The gig at the GUINNESS HOUSE in Palma was incredibly good. Looking forward to the next 2 shows in March. At the moment I do a lot of promotion for the Band as well as I'm looking for gigs all over Europe for the fall/winter season.
Tomorrow night we'll be rocking & rolling with friends at a Jam Session in our hometown in a club called S'Entorn. If it works, we'll organize jams and concerts there every friday.

Hi folks,
I found this video where our brothers from ASTEROIDNEWS can be seen on CANAL 4 in Mallorca. With a little help from Phil on Telecaster, Little Dave on Drums and Piero & Silvio on Backin Vocals & Dancin'. Lui and Chris arrived the following day. I never played that great Dan Baird Song before.
WE R COMIN' ! is playing some Rock & Roll 2nite at the GUINNESS HOUSE in Palma de Mallorca, Parc del Mar. Hope 2 see u dere!!! Next date at the same place will be on the 31.3.07 !!!
The YAYHOOS r back in Spain !! 2nite they'll rock & roll in Gijon and 2morrow they do the last show of their successful European Tour in Vigo. Wish I could be dere.
